Receding Ice at the Lake

Receding Ice at the Lake

melting ice along the edge of the lake

What a totally gorgeous day we had today in New England!

Certainly a big change from last weekend.

Picking up sticks and patching the roof damage from the wind storm was on the agenda and it was so nice of the weather to cooperate.

The ice is melting in earnest now down at the lake, and the warning to remove all bob houses has come way before the April 1st deadline.

The best thing about today - hanging out a laundry to dry. First time this season and can't wait to use those towels - they smell heavenly!

  1. I can't wait to hang my laundry when the weather breaks...especially the sheets and quilts....Yum!

  2. I use to love laundry hung outside to dry, but can't really do that here, or it get fully of grit and sand...even on a non windy day.
