E is for Eggshells .......
A busy morning of baking used the rest of the eggs in the carton.
I usually buy brown eggs, so upon seeing these white eggshells against the gray, I was enticed to grab a shot.
My family is used to seeing the camera appear at the most odd times, so ignoring their sighs and exasperations, I captured these broken eggshells before they were tossed into the trash.
After viewing the finished image, I think I like the texture of the carton better then the broken eggs!
Stumble It!
Digg It!

I have seen an egg today but this is the first EMPTY EGG shell. Good one.
ReplyDeleteEgg-strordinary :-)
ReplyDeleteI must remember to put a note out for the milkman to deliver another half dozen
ReplyDeletei like your egg picture! i think i get the same sounds from my family when i pull out the camera at strange times ;)
ReplyDeleteApparently whether a hen lays white or brown eggs can be determined by the colour of her 'ear lobes' (!) - the flaps that hang down either side of her head. But there's no difference to the eggs themselves.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I'm sure that when I was little there were more white eggs....
Great photo!
Nice capture. I find since I have a digital camera I take photos of everything now!
ReplyDeletewow. i love the concept. and i love eggs haha
ReplyDeleteill be linking you up. :D
ReplyDeleteI have eaten stuble eggs today! Nice choice for E!!!
ReplyDeleteA finally one who has done something with the eggs! Congratulations -
ReplyDelete:-)
I think they look great together! I considered eggs but couldn't come up with a way to make them seem special. You did that just by showing them broken in the carton!
ReplyDeleteClever .. a lot of eggs, shells and omlets being made today
ReplyDeleteSuch a simple photo, but so effective.
ReplyDeleteVery unique idea for the E theme!
ReplyDeleteYes, maybe, but I think it's the contrast of colour and texture that makes the photo. Nice E.
ReplyDeleteI've seen Eggs, but no Eggshell posts yet. I think my family would have me committed if I started taking pictures of everything. I only feel safe with photographers. :P
ReplyDeleteGreat post on empty eggshells, mine were full and whole
ReplyDeleteI should check the abc blogs when I am not hungry!!
ReplyDeleteCracked up E! :) Nice.
ReplyDeleteLots of different takes on eggs today!
ReplyDeleteGreat textures of the carton and i like the one egg especially with the bit of white pooling in the shell. Perfect post for E.
ReplyDeleteI think the gray makes the photo.

ReplyDeleteA very good choice for "E". Nice display of the broken shells!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if my family was the only one that sighs when the camera comes out. Thanks for helping me regain my sanity. :D Nice shot, I agree on the carton texture being more appealing than the eggs!
