C is for Coneflowers .......
I was drawn instantly to the beautiful mauve color of these pretty Coneflowers.
Set against the deep green leaves, with their centers so full and perfect, I just couldn't resist them.
Notice the dark gray sky behind them - I had just enough time to snap these little beauties before Mother Nature sent us a whooping summer thunder storm.

Just came from admiring stunning camellias in digitalflowerpictures wow, here's another flower that I haven't seen in the tropics! It's almost dark pinkish or purple, right? :)
