L is for Lessons............
Can you tell what kind of lessons are taught here?
This is part of a training area that is set up at our local recycling center.
Right next to these structures, there are several targets and a small building set up for more training.
The police officers use the targets for training themselves, and the above jumps are used for training the police dogs.
We have never been able to actually watch them - it just isn't allowed.
I would love to capture them with my camera as they train and respond to orders.
Too many distractions though would interfere with their lessons and proper training.
I certainly wouldn't want to be responsible for that!
This is the sixth round of ABC Wednesday. If you would like to join in please visit this site for the details.
Kathy, I wouldn't do that either, but you know anything in action is worth capturing. Nice capture. BTW thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog. I have gotten to the point that I cannot respond to all comments on my blog. I call it over load, lol. The new sub blog is working out great, and just in time Google after few weeks finally fixed the problem, oh well, I will just continue. Thanks again for your long time support. Anna :)
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the chaos when they are training! Maybe a very, very long zoom lens could capture the action without interfering.
ReplyDeletethanks for expaining the set up, I tink I may have been lost otherwise!! Tee hee!
ReplyDeleteVery original and interesting post. too bad you can't capture the dogs in action. Its understandable though.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's interesting! I'd like to see them train, too!
ReplyDeleteI'd have never guessed! Interesting post, to be sure!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a rigorous obstacle course.
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you!
A zoom lens from far away....lol interesting obstacles, with different graphics on them. Wonder if it's to get the dogs use to the surroundings.
