P is for Paw Print.......
A paw print in the wet sand - not yet disturbed from a passer-by.
Hard to tell from the photo, but this was a large print.
There was only one as it was just a small sandy spot - glad the dog chose to walk through it.
Stumble It!

Are you sure it was a dog and not a mystic beastie
ReplyDeleteWe have a paw print in the cement. Forgot which dog it was, but she HAD to be in first!
ReplyDeleteGood story behind thisone...wonder exactly eh?
Definitely a foot print. An interesting look. Great abstract.
ReplyDeleteYou must be very observant to see a paw print in the ground :)
ReplyDeletePeter - hopefully not a beastie - but some dogs sometimes scare me!
ReplyDeleteDenise - we did that too - I guess all beings like to leave a print behind!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Roentarre
ReplyDeleteDeb - it was pretty big!
ReplyDeleteCool. Maybe a wolf or coyote?

Hi KLM
ReplyDeleteGood photo opportunity. I cannot resist taking photos of wildlife footprints - I have a collection of them
very nice! It is a great print!
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed by the variety of postings on ABC Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteGreat addition to the "P" pictures. This could be the lead-in to a great mystery story.
Must've been a somewhat heavy animal to leave such a distinct print -- so distinct you probably could have made a plaster cast of it if you had wanted to.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit, Oswegan!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Max and Neva!
ReplyDeleteBobbie, I was quite impressed when I saw it, and very glad it was still undisturbed.
ReplyDeleteWow, Kathy this is cool, I actually see 3D object rising from the ground. It happens to me sometimes, what some see indentation, I see the opposite, the rise. Very cool, and looks like some big animal, I don't know if I would want to be around, lol. Anna :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like my dog's print Kathy. She's a small dog but a fat one with large paws and the prints she leaves look more like a tiger. :)
ReplyDeleteGood thinking for 'P'. :)
nice shot
ReplyDeleteWhat a find with still very good details. What happened to the other 3 paws? Maybe it was a one-legged beastie? ;)
ReplyDeleteAnna - I sometimes see the 3D rising in photos. It takes a minute or two to get the focus to see the indentation.
ReplyDeleteThanks, WFW!
ReplyDeleteThanks, KMF!
ReplyDeleteAVCR8TEUR, It was just a small patch of sand surrounded by grass, so just one stride was all it took.
ReplyDeleteToo cool, you happened to be at the right spot at the right time, good eye.
ReplyDeleteNeat image Kathy :)
ReplyDeleteThis week on "The Labrador Stalker"
ReplyDeleteFine choice for your ABC Wednesday post. I like it, and I know you're glad you got the photo.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks like a bobcat--not that I'm an expert. Have you found out what it was?
ReplyDeletea very scary paw, apology in visiting you late as I only find time until Friday about 6:40pm leaving work for home.
ReplyDeleteI love paw print photos!!! Great shot!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, JJ
Cool, a new take on a feet photo. The paw print looks like it needs a pedicure.
