Bobbie - It's part of a boy scout camp dating back to the 1800's. The town bought them several years ago and maintains them for public use - with permission of course.
Kathy you just put my dream into a photo, and now I have to think how I am going to get it and make it real, lol. This is really nice cabin to get away - do you have one with winter snow blanket around? That way I would have complete set of my dreams, lol. Thanks Kathy for your lovely photos, especially when I have to crunch numbers during work, refreshing, lol. Anna :)
Bob - they are very rustic - including the outhouses! They finally did away with the "traditional" ones and there are now those ugly green plastic ones taking their place.
I love the contrast of the cabin's rick colouring against the backdrop of greenery. It looks like it would be a lovely place to kick back and just relax. Great photo, Kathy!
