U is for Ugly............
A very ugly photo - intentionally overexposed to increase its ugliness.
This is a little spot alongside a river that we occasionally sit beside to have our lunch if we happen to be in town.
Seems that others do the same - and leave their trash behind.
We were very disgusted and disappointed that this little spot had been treated this way.
Don't know when we will go back there if this is what to be from now on.
I hope it isn't.
This is the sixth round of ABC Wednesday. If you would like to join in please visit this site for the details.
Don't know a thing about exposure etc, the thought I had was the ugliness came from the trash and people being ugly leaving garbage behind like that.

When was it decided by some people that the planet is a giant garbage can? Ticks me off!

Isn't that sad.
ReplyDeleteHow sad that people are so careless and thoughtless. I don't blame you for being disappointed and not wanting to see the ugliness again.
ReplyDeleteHow depressing to see people literally trash a lovely spot like this. I still am not sure if it's laziness or ignorance...or both, but it is definitely sad.
ReplyDeleteHow sad. People can be such thoughtless slobs. I wonder if a few of the better souls could clean it up before it ruins the place?
ReplyDeleteIt is so disappointing when people display such disregard for nature's beauty, and the enjoyment of others.
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of the Native American sitting on his horse with a tear trailing down his cheek :(
ReplyDeleteVery sad. Ugliness is so depressing. But it is a good choice of U-word.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Anna

That makes me sad, don't know why people do that, it really is not that difficult to carry your trash away with you. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteKathy, I get very upset when I see trash.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, I think the fines for littering should be more enforced. Anna :)
I live near a small swamp that is being trashed. It is a great place to bird watch and fish. I did complain to the local government...not sure if they will do anything. Some people just don't care.:(
