Customer Disappointment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The older customers that use the Walgreens pharmacies for their medicines are very upset these days.

They now have to get their medications through the mail.

And many of them know how that goes.

It gets lost or delayed.

Perhaps it even gets stolen as it is easy to tell when medications are in a package.

And they are very worried that no will be looking out for them.

Walgreens and Express Scripts will no longer be partners when it comes to prescriptions.

And since many people have Express Scripts as their prescription provider, they will no longer be able to get their medicines at their local Walgreens.

They love their pharmacists who take the time to look for medicine interactions and answer all their questions.

To help them, there is a Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens that will offering a special discount on it's annual membership plan.

Hopefully it can help ease the transition for them.

This parting of ways between the two companies also affects the military as their prescription provider is Tricore, which is a client of Express Scripts.

Concerned customers can contact their local media to let them know how they feel.

  1. I just got started with Walgreen's for prescriptions, although I don't know if my coverage is affected. I give a lot of credit to Walgreens for making lemonade out of lemons. I think their customer service is outstanding, so I will continue to do business with them.
