Friday's Photo Tip
Something a bit different for today.
I came across a quote that I think applies to many things in life, but it takes on a special meaning for an artist or a lover of art:
"The question is not what you look at but what you see!"
-by Henry David Thoureau
I apologize for the short post for this week - a busy weekend is ahead.
Hope you all have a good one!
I like the quote. Art leads us to see things in new ways. That's why I love abstraction, in particular.
ReplyDeleteI like the photo, too. I guess it's a shred of tire on snow?
Have a good weekend, and may all of it be good, Kathy.
Hi Kathy, great saying, and is that snow I see, yikes, it's getting cold here way too fast and have already set up my snow removal contractors for September.
ReplyDeleteI love this quote. And it's so very true.
ReplyDeleteExcellent illustration of the quotation.
ReplyDeleteLove the quote ... it is so true!
ReplyDeleteIt might be be short but it is a very important point!
ReplyDeletePlease forgive me for not being around the last few days. I have been experiencing some very bad back and hip pain for weeks now. It finally just got to be too much to ignore any longer....so my neighbor took me in to see the DR. .... diagnosis..pinched sciatic nerve!
I didn't want to be a whiner and I was trying to ride it out. but, I also want you to know why i haven't been online much at all for the last 3 days.
I hope your busy weekend will be good one!
Jackie:-)
Clean Photo! I like it!

Make or Break
Talk about 'in the eye of the beholder'! At first glance I thought that was a caterpillar. Then I looked more closely and thought, hmm, tire poking through some snow. LOL
