Silky white milkweed seeds ready to catch a ride on the wind.

The texture of the dried, cracked pod creates contrast against the soft fluff.

  27. As a child I spent many a fall afternoon opening up the pods and blowing the seeds all over the neighborhood , thanks for the trip back in time. Nice image as well.
