S is for Sailboat............
This is a scan from a slide photo that was taken back in the early 1980's.
We were lucky enough to be out on the ocean on an extremely hot summer day.
You can see the haze hanging over the water as the land in the background is barely visible.
Only a few shots taken - there was no such thing as digital cameras - film and photography was an expensive hobby.
Technology has been a grand thing in many ways!
This is the fourth round of ABC Wednesday. If you would like to join in please visit this site for the details.
A perfectly serene choice. Who wouldn't want to be here.

What a very beautiful, colourful shot! Slides do seem to come out more saturated than film sometimes, don't they? I have a lot from years ago that I need to scan.
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)
Beautiful shot Kathy, no digital, must have been weird, lol, I so like digital... and technology.
ReplyDeleteI love the sea. My Dad was an avid Sailor and used to tske us all over the place when we had a catalac catamaran in the 80's. We used to go around the Greek Islands and lived there for a few years. It broguht back some nice memories. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteHi Jay - Is till have tons of them too - wish they weren't such a pain to work with now. Someday I will have the time!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob - but we knew no different back then!
