ABC Wednesday - L

(The Wordless Wednesday post is beneath this post.)

L is for Lacrosse Stick.......

a white lacrosse stick and ball

A brand new nice and clean white lacrosse stick with an orange ball.

After the first game the net was brown from the mud and there were green grass stains along the worn edges.

Glad my son let me borrow it before he took it into action!

  1. I've never played lacrosse. We used to play hockey at school and I had many a bruised shin from that. Happy ABC hunting :o)

  4. Ruth - Lacrosse for boys is such a rough sport - thy actually beat each other on the chests with these sticks to make their opponent drop the ball. Of course they are all wearing thickly padded gear for protection, but when I hear those sticks start slapping, the mother in me starts to cringe and pray it's not my son they are going after!

  5. Dot - Lacrosse is a sport that was played by the American Indians. My great grandmother was a full blooded American Indian and I was quite happy to hear my son was interested in it.
